Having made fishing rods - fiberglass, graphite, and bamboo - for over forty years, I have always been selective of the quality of reel seats used. For some years now, we have been building custom hardware for some of the country's premier rod makers. From time to time, I make small runs of fly rod hardware for our own use. I am pleased to offer a limited supply of our quality rod components, all precision machined in our shop. Our wood inserts are carefully selected for grain beauty and durability. These inserts are treated inside and out to enhance stability and beauty. They are then finished by hand with five coats of high grade spar varnish. These reel seats will enhance your next rod creation.
Screwlock Reel Components
These finely machined and hand-polished aluminum reel seat components are based upon the F.E.Thomas style of hardware. They feature a custom rounded thread, finely knurled built-in cork check, and beautiful hand-polished mirror finish.

Nickel Silver Slide Band Reel Seats
These nickel silver slide band seats are styled after the distinguished H. L. Leonard reel seats that graced many of their rods throughout their long history. Nickel silver band, pocket cap and cork check are precision machined and hand polished to a mirror finish. Wood inserts are sealed and varnished inside and out.
