I always keep an eye out for good quality used Pflueger Medalist reels. When time allows, I enjoy taking the better reels to dress and tune up with our high quality One-Pfoot replacement parts. Because of the frequency in which folks have requested such products for their fishing enjoyment, we have added a small list of currently available used reels. MODEL 1492 DA MEDALIST FLY REEL
1041 RHW. Here's a later USA built 1492 with replaced spool latch cover, brown swirl handle, and reel foot and an added low profile counterbalance. This click and pawl reel is for right hand wind only. Ideal for short rods and 2/3 or 4 wt lines. $175.00

MODEL 1494 MEDALIST FLY REEL
1042 LHW. This very clean Akron built 1494 has had all of the One-Pfoot upgrades installed including round line guard, sculpted pillars, stainless brake adjusting screw, etc. Reel is set up for left hand wind. Includes nice box, hanging tag, and paperwork. $235.00

1048 RHW. This unique early model patented 1494 features the small "chain link" line guard that is found most often on the 1492. This reel has original riveted sculpted pillars. 10410 LHW. This reel is one of my favorite large game reels. I have used one almost exclusively the past few years for Atlantic salmon and steelhead. It will hold 8 and 9 wt lines and all the backing you will need. This 1964 6-rivet reel is in close to new condition and comes with box and paperwork.
